Stash, the investing and banking app on a mission to help everyday Americans invest and build wealth, announced today that it now offers new cryptocurrency access through a separate crypto account for its more than 2M active subscribers; investments are powered by Apex Crypto.

“Stashers are intrigued by crypto and we are here to help them as a trusted partner,” said Brandon Krieg, co-founder and CEO of Stash. “We built this feature the ‘Stash Way.’”

In addition to vetting the coins offered, Stash encourages thoughtful investments that lead to a long-term, diversified portfolio. A new crypto calculator tool aims to help customers build and keep a balanced portfolio.

To enable its expanded crypto access, Stash has partnered with Apex Crypto, a subsidiary of Apex Fintech Solutions.

Today’s launch is the second crypto launch from Stash. More than half a million people have signed up for the managed crypto offering, making it the most successful launch from Stash to date.
